Since her mother's death at birth, Kirima's lived in an orphanage in Anglatia. She is stubborn, intelligent and determined, but can also be very emotional at times. She knows nothing about where she comes from but assumes she is Aseaic (North Inuit) because of her name and appearance. Even though she's never met her, Kirima feels a strong bond to her mother. She controls fire and is very good at it, despite her lack of practice due to it's secrecy. |

Born in Norisa, Kozue and his twin sister were attacked by North Engaians after they killed their parents. Clueless of what became of his sister, Kozue was taken back to North Enga. Because his sister was an elementist, the North Engaian leader thinks Kozue is one too. Kozue managed to escape the prison, but hasn't been able to escape the country and now lives in hiding. |

Raoul is the Orphanage's girl-magnet/complete idiot. In his own mind he is a 'super awesome totally kickass SKATER STAR'! ... unfortunately for him 99% of his stunts end with him getting hurt. Usually falling on his groin - even if it seems physically impossible. Despite his groupies, he's always trying to impress Kirima - but she hates him. He should stop wasting time trying to impress her and think about more important things - like wearing a jock-strap! |

After their parents were killed while on a mission, Valrick's been raising his little sister Natalie since he was 14, and she 8. His work with the Resistance was put off when his girlfriend died, because he promised her he would find and take care of her younger brother, which is harder than it sounds. He's really mellow and friendly, but he also doesn't take anyone's bullshit and is very protective over anyone he considers family. |

Although she is cheery and friendly at heart, Natalie uses it to mask her sadness about losing her parents. She likes making everyone around her feel at ease and doesn't like to see others sad. She rarely cries and usually just appears stubborn and angry - though she is stubborn. She looks up to her 'bruderchen' Valrick, and wants to be just like him. She often mistakes Valrick's means of protection as not trusting her and treating her as a child. Because of this, they usually argue. |
